WARNINGS & PRECAUTIONS
Use only as described in this User Guide.
Do not microwave or freeze.
Do not place the Coffee Pot on stoves.
Do not drop the Vacuum Coffee Pot as this can cause damage.
Keep the Vacuum Coffee Pot out of reach of children when filled with hot liquids.
Always hold the Coffee Pot using the handle as the Coffee Pot surface can become hot.
Take extra care when securing the lid as hot liquid or steam may escape from the spout.
Take care when using the Release Button. If the beverage is too hot when added, steam may build up and release in a short burst. Do not direct the spout towards people or animals.
Always check and make sure the lid is secured before pouring.
Do not use bleach or cleansers containing chlorine to clean.
This Vacuum Coffee Pot is not dishwasher-safe. Wash by hand only.
Always wash and dry the Vacuum Coffee Pot between uses. Do not overfill. Hot liquid can cause scalding to the user.
USAGE
- Before first use, check the Vacuum Coffee Pot for signs of damage. Do not use if the product is damaged.
- Wash the Vacuum Coffee Pot thoroughly using warm soapy water.
- Using a kettle, prepare your hot beverage i.e Tea or Coffee to add to the Coffee Pot. Allow the to cool slightly to a drinkable temperature before adding to the Coffee Pot.
WARNING! Take extreme care when transfering hot beverage to the Coffee Pot.
IMPORTANT: Do not exceed the Maximum capacity of 2 Litres. - Screw the POT LID onto the Coffee Pot ensuring a secure fit. Always check the POT LID is correctly fitted before pouring your beverage.
- To pour, simply press and hold down theĀ RELEASE BUTTON.
NOTE: When the RELEASE BUTTON is first pressed after adding your hot beverage, steam may escape from the SPOUT. - This product is designed to keep liquids hot or cold for an extended amount of time.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
- After use, discard of any remaining liquid and then add a few drops of detergent to the POT along with warm water. Screw on the POT LID and shake for several minutes
IMPORTANT: Do not use bleach or chlorine based products as they are extremely corrosive to stainless steel, even when diluted. Only use mild detergent.
- Using a cleaning brush, scrub the inside of the POT and around the POT LID rim. Rinse with clean cold water.
- If there are any remaining tea or coffee stains, leave the POT to soak in warm soapy water and wipe with a sponge. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Discolouration can appear on the outer surface of the Coffee pot and can be removed with a special cleaner for stainless steel, or by adding lemon juice or vinegar to your regular cleaning solution.
IMPORTANT: Do not wash any part of the Vacuum Coffee Pot in the dishwasher. They are not dishwasher safe.
IMPORTANT: Avoid using abrasive scourers or scouring powders.
TIP: To eliminate any odours that may build up over time, mix a solution of 4 tablespoons/1oz of baking soda in 175ml/6 fl oz of warm water. Add the solution to the POT, apply the POT LID and leave to stand for 30 minutes or until the odour dissipates. Rinse well and dry.
