WARRANTY

This appliance has a two year warranty period. During this period the manufacturer is responsible for any failures which are the direct result of construction failure. When these failures occur the appliance will be repaired or replaced if necessary. The warranty will not be valid when the damage to the appliance is caused by wrong use, not following the instructions or repairs executed by a third party. The warranty will only be valid if the warranty application has been completed by the dealer at the time of purchase. All parts, which are subject to wear, are excluded from the warranty.

This appliance is only for household use or environments of a similar character such as :

  • kitchens that are used by personnel of shops, office or other similar professional environments.
  • Farms
  • Hotel rooms and motel rooms and other similar environments with a residential character.
  • Bed and breakfast or similar.

Attention : this appliance may not be used with an external timer or seperate remote control.

This appliance can be used by children, starting from the age of 8 and up. And by persons with a physical or sensorly limitation as well as, mentally limited persons or persons with a lack of experience and knowledge. On the condition that these persons have received the necessary instruction on how to use this appliance in a safe way and they must also know the dangers that can occur in using this appliance.
Children cannot be allowed to play with the appliance.
Maintenance and cleaning of the appliance, cannot be done by children younger than 8 year old.

Carefully read all instructions before using the appliance.

  • WARNING! Do not use this appliance near water in bath tubs, basins or other vessels.
  • When the hairdryer is used in a bathroom, unplug it after using since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the hairdryer is switched off.
  • For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) with rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Please consult your local electrician.
  • To avoid the risk of electrocution through accidents never use the appliance near water in your bathtub or sink.
  • Unplug the appliance from the electric socket after using it in the bathroom.
  • If the appliance does fall into the water unplug it from the (wall) socket immediately.
  • Caution: Never stick your hand into the water. Take the appliance to have it checked before trying to use it again.
  • Never operate the appliance if you have wet hands and be careful to avoid splashes of water dripping onto it.
  • Never use spray cans in the direct vicinity of the appliance.
  • The air inlet grille becomes hot when the appliance is used. Make sure that he electric lead cannot come into contact with it.
  • If you dry your hair with curlers in, make sure that the hairpins or clips do not stick out any further than 10 mm in order to avoid any of them touching parts of the hairdryer.
  • The air inlet and outlet grille must be kept free of obstruction at all times. If the air supply is obstructed during use the thermal safety mechanism will switch the appliance off automatically. The hairdryer will automatically restart after being left for a few minutes to cool down.
  • Always remove the plug from the electric socket after use and before cleaning the hairdryer.
  • When you are using the hairdryer it can become very hot and cause burns if you fail to take proper care.
  • To avoid burns or injury always hold the hairdryer by its handle.
  • If the grille of your hairdryer becomes blocked you can clean it with a vacuum cleaner or a brush. If you fail to carry out cleaning in this way the hairdryer will automatically switch off as a result of overheating.
  • Keep your hair away from the air inlet grille.
  • Carry out regular checks for damage to the hairdryer’s electric lead.
  • Do not attempt to repair the hairdryer yourself. If the repairs are carried out incorrectly you could place yourself or others in danger of serious injury such as electrocution.

METHOD OF USE

Speed Settings:

The hairdryer has 2 different speeds, these are designed to allow you to dry your hair quickly and effectively!

0 = OFF.
1 = low speed so that you can control the chosen hair styling.
2 = high speed for drying hair very quickly.

Fine blow settings

This is for specific areas of hair to so that you can create form and style.
Please note: the hairdryer used in the blower setting will become hot during use.

Voltage

Set the correct voltage (you can use a small coin for this) before using the hairdryer.
For voltages of 100-120V set it to 120V.
For voltages of 220-240V set it to 230V.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Always remove the plug from the electric socket before starting any cleaning.
Never immerse the hairdryer in water or any other type of liquid.
Clean the outside casing with a damp but not wet cloth. Rub to dry using a clean, dry cloth.
You can use a good quality (one that does not release its bristles) soft brush to remove dust and dirt from the air inlet.
