Installation and Setup

- Only connect with cables approved for the EP-800. Do not use cables intended for the CT-1000/EP-1000.

- This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial environment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instruction manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. Operation of this equipment in a residential area is likely to cause harmful interference in which case the user will be required to correct the interference at his own expense. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by Aptiv could void the user‘s authority to operate the equipment.

Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. The FCC and ISED (Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada) require a minimum separation distance of 20 centimeters (7.87 inches) between certain radio transmitting equipment and the human body to comply with RF exposure limits. Do not throw in household waste.

Warranty and Support
Each item of purchased hardware and its media shall be new and shall be free from defects in manufacture, materials, and design, and shall function properly under ordinary use and operate in conformance with its applicable specifications and documentation for a period of one (1) year from the applicable acceptance date (the “Warranty Period”) of such purchased hardware. Any non-customer induced failure will be replaced with equivalent new hardware within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 1 month of reported failure.
For leased hardware, the customer is responsible for returning each unit and related accessories within thirty working days of testing completion and returning each unit in a functional state. If leased hardware is not returned within thirty days of the end of the test or is returned damaged, the customer may be invoiced at the standard hardware purchase price plus ten percent. The customer is responsible for all data usage charges including cellular or Wi-Fi, and for any cellular roaming charges that occur. International roaming will be disabled unless the customer instructs otherwise. The customer is responsible for all shipping and travel charges associated with returning leased hardware, and such charges may be billed at cost plus ten percent.
